Michael D. Schultz

Michael D. Schultz is that rarity - a native Los Angelino. He attended Loyola High School and is a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles with a degree in Radio, Film, and Television. He began his professional editing career in 1986 cutting music videos. His influence on the industry cannot be overstated and can be felt by the more than a thousand music videos that were shaped in his edit suite.

Schultz became a much sought-after editor of concert films for The Rolling Stones, Justin Timberlake, and Ramones, and for comedy specials, of Whoopi Goldberg, Chris Rock, and Robin Williams. For his effort, he has been nominated for the Emmy Award for Editing, three times and has won it twice!

Unbelievably, Michael finds time to cut feature films, documentaries, and the occasional television series.
